There are 6 paid holidays: New Year's Day in January, Memorial Day in May, Independence Day in July, Labor Day in September, Thanksgiving Day in November, and Christmas Day in December. If the holiday falls on a weekend, the work day closest to the holiday will be recognized.

NOTE: Their are two types of Holiday Pay that Full-time employees who have been employed for at least 90 days will receive, and employees must work the day before and the day after the holiday, within their scheduled work week or have approved time off to receive the holiday pay.

1. For facilities that are closed on holidays, all Full-time employees who have worked for at least 90 days will be paid for 8 hours, as long as the day falls within their regularly scheduled work week.

2. For facilities that are open on holidays, all Full-time employees who have worked for at least 90 days will be paid time and a half for the hours worked on the holiday.

All employees are required to work if the facility is open on a holiday, if the day falls within their regularly scheduled work week.
